Original Leafling - Queen of Halloween (includes frame)

Add some magical whimsy to your home with this real hand pressed and painted leaf. I love to gather leaves and discovered one fall day that I could draw and paint on them easily enough! I love finishing the piece with touches of gold gouache to shimmer in the light. Each piece is one of a kind, perfect for gift giving or for collectors of the unique! 

This Leafling features a portrait of girl wearing a crown of Jack-O-Lanterns, leading me to believe she just might be the Queen of Halloween. She is painted on a pressed American Heart leaf. 

***Be aware the colors may appear slightly different in person due to monitors and screens having variances in brightness/color. I have provided a variety of images to show you different angles and lighting. 

More about my Leaflings:

Leaflings are preserved when pressed until dry. They are then painted on with sumi ink and gouache then mounted into a float frame using glue made for pressed leaves and florals so it will not damage the piece, but keeps it from sliding around between the glass. It is not recommended to display this piece where it will be exposed to direct sunlight as this will cause the leaf and design to fade over time.
